It seems you used a keyboard shortcut, possibly Ctrl+Shift+J or similar. The system recognized the action and linked it to relevant commands.

Occasionally I put a Ramen meal on top of my laptop, honestly... not very often. Probably because of some F-key shortcut, and whenever something feels off it ties back to that.

I get how you adjust brightness without touching the buttons. My keyboard has cherry MX black switches, so I can change the lights easily. A regular laptop usually doesn’t let you do that.
