I activated an arbitrary button sequence and it didn't show or produce any output in the preview.
Navigate to the View menu to restore the preview window.
Press preview to likely choose a standard window layout.
I work with After Effects and think a typical approach is window>workspace>reset workspace
Press Ctrl plus Z to try the special fix for backtracking issues? It might not function in Sony Vegas.
