Hi, your Alienware M15 R2 has lost most of its color from sun exposure and use, but the keyboard and trackpad are still in good condition. You can definitely repaint the top palmcase—similar to wet sand, prime it, and then apply a lunar white alienware spray paint. For best results, consider using a clear coat as well. If you’d like advice on suitable colors or techniques, feel free to ask for recommendations and tips.

Repainting is an option, but examining the discoloration spots on the laptop's palmrest will show you how the paint is wearing down. This wear could be more severe than your current condition because of oils and sweat from your hands. You might consider finding a palmrest on Ebay. One such example is here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/166340221484, though it appears to be in worse shape. A full restoration would likely be necessary.

I was considering purchasing from eBay too, just to check if it's feasible. It's a Nordic keyboard, so I need to find a Palmrest with an EU mark because some keys vary. For instance, the European left shift key is smaller, while all US Alienware keyboards have a longer left shift key.
