Would you like assistance improving your PC performance?
Hello! I’m curious about ways to optimize my PC for the best gaming performance. I have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, 16GB RAM, a 3060 Super graphics card, and a B450 F motherboard. I’m using Windows 10 and wondering if there are specific benchmarks, BIOS or Windows settings that could help me reach peak performance. My current setup is on Windows 10, but I’m unsure if Windows 11 would be better for gaming. Any tips would be really helpful!
upgrade to a 32GB (2x 16GB) 3600 low latency RAM kit, a superior B550 motherboard, ensure BIOS optimized defaults are set with RAM profile activated, maintain High Performance power profile in the OS, and keep all game settings at their minimum levels. I would definitely stick with Windows 10.
Another aspect to consider is your network latency (lag). It's not solely about speed. While many people don't require dedicated Gigabit fiber at home, the lower latency compared to cable is a significant advantage. As dedicated fiber providers begin offering speeds of 3, 5, 8, and 10 Gbps, I anticipate the difference in latency will become seconds rather than milliseconds.
if the OP is focused on online gaming but isn't clear, we can't be sure.
they haven't returned or shared much detail, so it's unclear.
since they've never provided much information, I assume they're just a casual player who saw some YouTube videos suggesting better performance than what they experienced.
"competitive" now often refers more to the type of game rather than a full career.
