Hello, you're considering the X570 Unify with the PCIE 4.0 chipset versus another model that's currently discounted. The main difference is the absence of the PCIE 4.0 link on the cheaper board, which isn't essential for your setup. Your workstation will use an R9 5900X and two GPUs, so it should fit well. It looks like you're making a smart choice by opting for the better value.

It seems the B550 model isn’t excluded from SLI support despite initial concerns. You might want to check the latest listings for pricing details.

No? The strix is already a more expensive board that doesn’t offer better performance than cheaper b550 models. The MSI option doesn’t make sense if you don’t need the extra features of the x570, and it’s also a pricier version of the x570. I think you’re not doing SLI, right?

Do you want both GPUs to run at x8, or both GPUs to run at x8 speed? Unless there's some other reason you'd want the 570, I don't think you're missing anything. Spoiler Asus MSI

Personally I wouldn't may more for any MSI board. If you don't need PCIe 4.0 I probably wouldn't pay more. If he's using it as a workstation there's a chance he doesn't need it to perform in SLI.

In Poland... this might clarify things. (x-kom.pl) No, I'm not using SLI. I have two separate GPUs and will handle the tasks myself. Sorry, I'm confused about the differences...

It doesn’t hurt to ask. I thought they weren’t included since it’s intended for a workstation.

Are you asking if you should run them at X8 or at X8? I’m a bit confused about this.

The distinction lies in the fact that there is none. This board offers significant savings and is an excellent choice https://www.x-kom.pl/p/573222-plyta-glow...elite.html
