Hi, I have a Z220 small for factory use and recently got a Gtx 1060 3gb aero OC. The pre-built PSU is too weak considering it needs over 240W, and the original motherboard has a 2 6pin power connector instead of the required 24-pin MBO. I had to purchase an adapter to connect it properly. I tried it with an older PSU, but it didn’t work for "Power Failer" as per the manual. I found a good deal on a Coolermaster Masterwatt 600W and wondered if it would fit my pre-built setup. I’m planning to install the PSU outside the case because of the hot weather, and it wouldn’t fit in the SFF case. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you!

This PSU?

I'm not sure if it will actually work for your plan.
But I wouldn't buy it if you paid for it.
We recently replaced a dozen of them.
Three died within a month, and five others were beginning to make noises when they switched between silent modes.

yes that one, and my pc is already loud and it's under my desk so i don't mind. i was just curious if it would work, or if it's the same issue with mars gaming that i've heard about.

It would help if you shared your budget and the location where you're buying the PSU, so we can locate a suitable one. If I had to guess, that PSU might not be great.
