It doesn't seem worthwhile from my perspective; your setup is already quite strong. I'm likely skipping AM5 or opting for the final CPU models when they become much cheaper, like AM4.

Collected the package today. Shared the same inquiry on the Steam forums, and many users reported problems with the RAM, mentioning issues with timings or CL. It's a 36, but I'm not seeing much lower prices on Amazon?

I have the Ryzen 7 7700 non x running on an Asus TUF gaming B650 Plus WiFi board. No significant problems for me.
If you were looking for a cheaper option, they do offer the 7700x bundle for $370.

The 9700x has the benefit of being only a 65 watt part like my 7700, giving you slightly better performance compared to the 7700x while maintaining similar temperatures.
Jayz2cents recently posted a video a few weeks ago showing his experience with this bundle, which might be worth checking out.

His take was that the CL36 didn’t make much of a difference for gamers; he even tested it with a 5090. Based on that, I’d recommend going for the bundle.

Abundant DDR5 options available, featuring two 16GB modules with CL30 or CL32 ratings. Choose what suits you, pcpp.

The x3d chips generally don't show the same RAM sensitivity as their non-x3d versions. It's unclear what kind of improvement you can expect, especially with faster RAM, on your 7900xtx.
