I was considering adjusting my RAM frequency in the BIOS but after looking into it, I found this article. It mentioned there were significant risks and difficulties involved (at least from what I understand). I was curious if those concerns would still apply, especially since enabling DOCP in the BIOS automatically sets it to 3600mhz (I haven't tried this outside of the BIOS yet). Thanks to anyone who can help.

There is no point in getting higher speed RAM unless you're going to utilise it really. If your RAM is rated to run at that speed, do it. Nothing that can't be revoked afterwards. The mass majority of the time it works perfectly fine.
