Would I be better off trading in my desktop gaming computer for a PlayStation 4?
Before discussing the idea of trading my gaming PC for a PS4, I want to explain that my younger brother frequently engages in disruptive behavior on my computer. He has damaged peripherals, such as breaking my previous mouse, and exhibits frustrating habits like excessive Roblox gaming and late-night sessions—often until 4 or 5 in the morning on weekdays and weekends, while I typically go to bed around 10 PM. Considering these factors, should I sell my PC and purchase a PlayStation 4 instead? My brother rarely uses television.
I exclusively play games on gaming consoles. The PlayStation 4 is an excellent choice. However, wouldn’t you also require a personal computer?
If you’re prepared to subscribe regularly for mobile gaming, feel free to do so; I've always favored desktop computers because they’re considerably quicker and allow multitasking.
In my opinion, your brother will likely discover access to your PlayStation 4 in a similar manner he did with your computer, and continue disrupting your leisure time. A key distinction is that you no longer possess the PC. Ideally, you should attempt to dissuade him or establish boundaries such as prohibiting gaming before 10 PM on weekdays. Consider setting passwords on the PC, and if you have an administrator account, create a separate one for your brother alongside utilizing parental control features to restrict his gameplay as desired.
