Hello, everyone I would appreciate some feedback on my current project. Here is the complete parts list.
I have a few questions: the Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM might not fit properly with the CPU cooler, and I’m unsure about its exact height. The Amazon listing says it’s 1.2 inches, but I’m not sure if that’s accurate. The cooler is a Noctua DH-15 in black, with thick fans and a heatsink. What should I do?

You might also consider using an aio cooler such as the Arctic Cooler III. If it doesn’t fit, I’m available within the return window.

According to the review, the cooler provides 64mm clearance when using just one fan. Adding another fan reduces it to 35mm. The RAM chosen is 44mm tall. The Ryzen 7800X3D operates at a lower temperature compared to others, making single-fan operation feasible.

Question for you. In the article you shared, it seems there is always one fan in the center and another on the front fins. What if I instead placed the fan on the back fins? Keeping the front exposed so the ram can be fully open? Thoughts? I’m curious about how this change would influence cooling.

The heat sink appears balanced, but cooling performance will be reduced when using two fans since the fans are built for high static pressure—meaning they're optimized to move air through obstacles rather than draw it in.

The NH-D15 is built to operate with two fans. I believe the recommended cooler is the NH-D15s, a high compatibility model with a single fan design:
https://noctua.at/en/nh-d15s/specification
The Corsair RAM should fit 44mm. Even a 54mm platinum would be suitable.
https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articl...dimensions
I could also mention that the NH-D15s is asymmetrical, which helps clear GPU backplates in some Sime motherboards where the first PCIe X16 slot is positioned too near the CPU.

I might have misunderstood. For the setup, I considered keeping one fan in the center and using the second fan behind the cooler. In contrast to the photos in the article where the second fan is at the front of the heatsink, what would happen if I moved it to the back?

I'm not sure about the exact details you're asking about. Could you clarify what you mean by the NH-D15s and the PCIE slots? This will help me better understand your question.

That's correct. If you position the fan meant to be "in front" of the cooler on the back, it won't work well since the fans are built to push air rather than pull it. Also, the NH-D15S resembles the NH-D15 without the additional fan, so you can operate the NH-D15 using just the center fan.

They address these possible problems effectively.
Noctua keeps a record of motherboards with certain concerns; yours isn't included:
