My receiver broke for my Asus ROG Gladius III and I can't find a way to buy a new one. The WT425 mouse is cheap and has a receiver with it, would it work?

You only need one Bluetooth receiver. It can link through its own dongle using 2.4Ghz, or via Bluetooth, or with a wired USB connection optionally. If your device lacks an internal Bluetooth adapter, just use a Bluetooth dongle and connect it.

That's a possibility, though Bluetooth appears to have some delay, making it unsuitable.

I checked and it seems to function well on my desktop with a BT dongle, but on my laptop with built-in Bluetooth it causes significant lag. I'm hoping it will work with my laptop after.

Ensure the most recent BT driver is installed for your laptop. On the product support page, look for the advanced>optional updates section of Windows update; a revised version might be available there. It should function smoothly on your desktop without performance issues, unless BIOS or driver compatibility concerns arise. Also verify if an updated BIOS version exists for your device.
