I have four RAM slots, two are currently occupied with 2x8GB modules at 2444MHz. I noticed that upgrading to faster RAM might only affect the lowest speed in your system. Should I purchase two additional 2444MHz sticks or opt for four 3200MHz units? I prefer the more affordable choice, but if it makes sense, buying all new RAM would be better.

It depends on the project you're working on, but fewer connections are better for future upgrades. If you need to swap them out, a 2x16 is recommended.

Also depends on your chipset. Intel processors appear to gain less from quicker RAM compared to AMD's Ryzen.

The rate of your RAM is crucial. I’d definitely choose the 3200.

Using your computer mainly for browsing and gaming can improve performance by moving to a 3200Mhz connection, though the gain varies with your GPU. A powerful GPU might notice a noticeable jump of 8-12 frames per second in games. For tasks that use more memory, boosting capacity offers a clearer advantage. It really depends on what you're doing.
