Sierra clearly wasn't the best choice for regular users. The shift toward Metal instead of OpenGL, a new file system, unstable Bootcamp support, and numerous issues made it a poor option. Mojave essentially replaced Snow Leopard 2.0, according to some opinions.

Cheetah performed poorly. Its performance was significantly hindered, making even powerful Macs slow. With greater familiarity, opinions might have been more favorable.
