Cinebench offers a solid measure for CPU overclock performance, though its reliance on AVX can be challenging for everyday users. 3Dmark Time Spy proves more practical when applied to real-world scenarios, and achieving better results there would be a significant advantage.

It's reasonable to run Cinebench smoothly. Avx isn't an excessive demand, it seems your cooling system could use improvement. Cinebench doesn't pay much attention to RAM.

He seems to lose points despite using a Hyper 212 Evo and a 5800X. AVX isn't widely used in games, and some older CPUs don't support it. Games often have patches that remove AVX instructions to prevent crashes on outdated hardware. In fact, early fixes for CP 2077 targeted AVX code near the prologue cutscene, which caused issues on older AMD systems because the game would crash repeatedly at that point.

XMP might sometimes let his subtimings get a bit loose... his 212 might not be maintaining the 5600X at its best, you never know.

My thermal performance is excellent—I stay under 60°C during Cinebench tests. My scores improved in 3dMark Time Spy, and my core clocks reached their limits with 3dMark as well. The problem lies in the reduced core clock speed when XMP is turned on versus when it's off.

I activated ASUS Performance Enhancer to maintain clock stability, which might be similar to what your Gigabyte BIOS offers. Just testing a single speed and voltage works well.
