Worked motherboard with a bent design.
Hi, six months ago I purchased an air cooler due to my AIO failure. I misunderstood the compatibility of my PC case's (O11 Dynamic) cooler, so I bought a 157 mm model. It actually only supports up to 155 mm. I believed a small 2 mm difference would allow me to install it—well, I did. Later, I noticed I had altered the motherboard. It has functioned perfectly for six months, and during panel openings I observed it resetting itself. My question is, should I urgently address this issue, or can I wait until I upgrade my CPU?
It's not overly bad, though it isn't ideal either. I'm not very familiar with motherboard bending, but since it's been functioning for six months, I don't think it will fail soon. Just attempt the repair whenever possible, but don't feel pressured to act immediately.
most of my boards (over 40 including some broken, around 20 good ones) are bent. Either they were bent before or I bent them while placing them on a weak cardboard box, but they still function properly when bent and everything works fine.
