I assist you or provide some explanation when I finish editing a video in Lightworks (free version), and then I export it to YouTube format. The result is a 30-minute video, but after exporting it appears as a blank screen.

Review your project timeline settings to confirm they align with your video length. Verify there are no missed audio or video clips near the timeline’s end, especially after trimming a lengthy sequence.

I've seen this before and I'm not sure about the reason. Would you like me to help shorten the video by adjusting the project settings?

Your video should be a specific length. Since I haven't used Lightworks, it appears you have an extended audio file without any matching video. When rendering, the audio plays but no video is displayed for that segment. V1 holds your video track, while A1 and A2 carry the audio. In your screen capture, the audio clips are longer than the video. Be sure to delete anything from your timeline you don’t want rendered, as it will affect the final result.

Based on my observations, the project might be extending unpredictably, especially when there are no audio or video files longer than a few minutes.

You could simply apply After Effects or Premiere to condense the content /s /thread

Some NLEs offer "auto trim timeline to clip length" options, while others let you set the timeline length in settings and need manual tweaks before rendering. This varies by software and personal preference. In Adobe Premiere, the timeline automatically adjusts to the end of the last audio or video clip and fills empty spaces if gaps exist between clips. After Effects requires you to verify the timeline length after editing and prepare it for final render.

A tool similar to Handbrake could handle this.

I was joking a bit since these are paid services and the person likely doesn’t have the budget, especially with Lightworks involved.
