Enjoyed playing Crysis 3 for around 30 minutes. The game suddenly crashed, leaving me feeling upset. When it tried to restart and reported a crash, it said "Video Drivers crashed." I wondered if the loud fan noise at 100% might be affecting my computer. My keyboard temperature was 94 degrees—maybe I should avoid using the side panel while gaming and monitor those temps more closely. Woops...

94 degrees sounds quite high, aren't you thinking it's 94 Celsius?

Sorry, I don't understand that reference. They don't use the scale in the US, and it seems to be talking about a temperature of around 94°C.

Varies by card; my reference 6870 performed well around 95c during gaming without any crashes or throttling.

I'm using a Gigabyte 6850 and it seems to avoid high temperatures, though it has previously reacted that way. When the side panel is off, it idles around 60°C, but at 70°C or higher it struggles. I suspect the PSU might not handle the extra heat well, but it’s not a major issue. Just wanted to share this experience.

the crashes occurred on my system using Windows 8, and I realized it was due to GeForce Experience. It would happen roughly every 30 minutes. At that time, GeForce Experience was still new, and I haven’t experienced any issues since Windows 8.1 and later updates.

It seems you're asking about 94 C Jesus Christ and whether leaving your side panel open might be affecting it. The issue likely relates to dust buildup, so using canned air could help clear it out.

The case you're referring to seems unrelated to intake fans; it might be another system or component you're troubleshooting.
