This seems like an unusual situation, but I'm trying to figure it out. I have seven Corsair AF120 fans and my lighting is all white, yet three of the front fans look different from the others. I've looked into some forums and tried signal adjustments, but nothing seems to work. I'm really puzzled and would appreciate any advice.

How many items were combined together? Could that be possible if you used two 3-piece kits and one single piece, with the LEDs differing enough in quality to cause this? I notice it occurs occasionally when assembling a system. Alternatively, maybe you inserted the wrong colored fan into a matching header—see what happens. It could also stem from a controller problem.

Do they share the same model and brand of fan? Are their RGB controllers identical? Does the hue shift but appear distinct, such as all white with subtle variations or consistently blue in varying shades? If colors alter yet remain similar, it’s likely different LED types across models. If certain units don’t change color at all while others do, it may stem from software setup issues or incorrect connections.

You have just two daisies linked together, with the pair at your back and the top one on the rad working well.

they're all identical models connected to the same commander core. two have daisy chains attached but remain unaffected. the main differences are limited to red, yellow, and dark blue, while the three front fans consistently deviate from the rest.

They weren't all bought together in one pack. Some Corsair fan models have various generations with different LEDs, meaning they share the same fan type but differ in age or design. If they all match in color and sync up, the issue likely lies in the LED type variations rather than brightness or hue. The best solution would be to swap out the fans entirely.

The front three were the ones that arrived with the purchase. The rear fan was bought separately roughly a week later, while the fans on the radiator came with the earlier purchase about a month or two after that.

They’re likely going to be various models or updated versions. The best solution would be purchasing new fans that match exactly.

the only idea that comes to mind is various versions since they're all AF120 fans.
