I own an i7-7700k with 32GB RAM, Corsair RM650x, ASUS Z270M, and the ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 8GB. In short, it’s not performing well right now. Built in late 2016? It seems it’s time to upgrade. Until then, I need a stable setup for Adobe Premiere. I suspect the graphics card is reaching its limit or failing, causing freezes and crashes. I’m wondering if a newer card would work in this build without too many problems, or if there’s a better option from that era. If I can afford something around $300-400, what would you suggest?

Thanks for the effort in helping me, but honestly I’ve been more into filmmaking than tech stuff—it’s really overwhelming.

What's the age of this PSU?
You might check the RX 9060 XT;

But keep in mind, Adobe's app suite is mainly for Nvidia GPUs. At your budget, choosing the RTX 5060 Ti;

wouldn't be recommended because it only uses 8 lanes.
Sorry for asking you to do the research—I've been looking into it but I'm not really an IT expert, and it can get really confusing.
I suggest saving up for a fresh build rather than buying parts over time to end up with a fake new setup.
