It's essentially a DLC, isn't it? (Just need to block updates)

You're interested in accessing additional features without reinstalling Windows. That's why you chose Windows 11 Pro—it offers enhanced capabilities and improvements over previous versions.

You should use ltsc to ensure updates aren't easily bypassed by professionals

Using MAS unlocks all its capabilities and allows customization. Ltsc is a minimal setup but includes everything from jome and pro. Moving to ltsc changes the approach compared to ms.

It’s going to be tough to locate the correct version... I need the same language setup I used when everything was configured, right? (I’m pretty sure that was UK with US INTL / Swiss-German keyboard settings). *And* I believe regular LTSC is likely better than IOT since it’s less stripped down? I’m fine with the Edge browser as long as I don’t have to use it... It’s those annoying updates that are the issue, more than ever since Microsoft keeps removing my favorite apps and features, swapping them with ones I don’t want or need... (just reinstalled Paint 3D on my W11 machine, I don’t know why they’d do that... but it wasn’t easy. I had to connect to the Internet because it needed to download some dependencies, apparently... At least that worked after some weird Wi-Fi problems)

Run the latest PowerShell commands, choose the Acquire Windows option, upgrade Windows, and then pick LTS. Your system won’t update, but the version will indicate to Microsoft not to proceed without a reason.

Alright, understood. It makes sense now. I'll give it a shot soon!
