But some of those comparisons seem biased, focusing mainly on CPU-heavy titles rather than GPU-intensive games. Based on what I see, people using Ryzen CPUs usually have a 20th or 30th series Nvidia GPU, likely in the recent years. In that context, these users probably play at 1440p because the GPU is powerful enough to utilize it fully. We haven't considered upcoming AAA releases that rely heavily on ray tracing and DLSS.
If we look at the bigger picture, will a Ryzen 7 3700X still be a strong choice long-term? Since future games are expected to depend more on graphics capabilities, yes—Ryzen offers solid multi-tasking with its eight cores while keeping gaming performance solid.
