Witcher 3 seems quite appealing, but I worry about revisiting the earlier games, which could waste a lot of time. A nice visual backdrop, though!

You're unsure about it, but based on what you've heard, it doesn't seem like something you'd enjoy. From what you know, you've only spent about 15 hours in Skyrim so far. You might want to try playing it.
