Witcher 3 seems quite appealing, but I worry about revisiting the earlier games, which could waste a lot of time. A nice visual backdrop, though!

I haven't played The Witcher yet, but its style shares some similarities with Skyrim in terms of open-world exploration and fantasy settings.

You're unsure about it, but based on what you've heard, it doesn't seem like something you'd enjoy. From what you know, you've only spent about 15 hours in Skyrim so far. You might want to try playing it.
