If you haven't put Windows on this exact computer before, then you've never really installed Windows here (and that means a complete setup where all current parts are taken out). Windows is not made for being broken or patched together. Windows 10 will try to fix things when people skip steps, but terrible, hard-to-see trouble can show up days, weeks, and even months later. That's why it's always best to do the job right on the first try.

I want a complete wipe so we can put Windows back on. Do you have a link or instructions for taking out all the disk sections?

If you're experiencing lock-ups, it might be a hardware problem. But lockups can also mess with the OS pretty easily. Test your GPU by running Furmark or looping through Time Spy and Fire Strike to check for stability issues.

I did a clean Windows update with no extra drives or partitions, everything worked until I tried to use the built-in graphics. The same issue happened again, so I lost my signal but the computer is still running. Since I can't restart it normally, I'm checking my old graphics drivers and wondering if I should go into safe mode, clean up everything with DDU, and install a newer Nvidia driver.

I will attempt to test my GPU, but right now I cannot even run inside Windows longer than 20 minutes.

Update 2: The driver is installed and I can start Windows. But now my computer keeps restarting from a bugcheck number of 0x116, just like before. If I open the memory dump in windbg, it still says there was an error with video driver 116 caused by the file nvlddmkm.sys.

Try also checking the factory drive tests for every one of your hard disk drives (HDD) and solid state drives (SSD).

I just ran furmark several times without any issues. Now I'm using AIDA again and got a message that TDR was very low. Should AIDA fix that problem for me? Yes, I clicked yes and it's currently running. After the test is done, I'll try the manufacturer drive tests.
