I chose Triss personally, believe it or not. That fiery blonde will definitely win my heart every single day.

This would suit a query about Triss or a similar topic.

I'm curious about the reasons individuals choose one option over another, especially when those reasons seem simple or obvious.

I’d pick Triss since she’s much kinder than Yen. In stories, Yen even plays dirty with Geralt, but Triss goes as far as to cry about his injuries. She’s also very gentle in the game, though you’ll spend more total time with Yen.

She’s alluring yet a bit bothersome, which makes it Triss for me.

With some background on the novels, Yen becomes much clearer. I aimed for an engaging experience, so after finishing Witcher 2, I refreshed Geralt's memories using summaries from the Witcher wiki. This greatly enhanced the playthrough and provided context for the connections that weren't obvious otherwise.

For my individual tastes, Yennefer is preferred, though I plan to spend more time with Triss in New Game+ once I can.
