They're figuring out how to produce gold, but it's proving challenging for them to generate income.
I was playing on normal, then grew tired of not being able to time my counters well and stuck in a struggle where I wasn't doing too well. Wraiths just pass over my attempts to stun or block. I haven't tried alt quen yet. I've gone back to normal since unlocking most of what I need from the skills. Aard alternative feels too easy to spam, uses less stamina than normal, and has double the range in every direction. Igni is also decent, but the alternative version deals significantly more damage for some reason. I've got over 120% sing intensity thanks to mutagens—this was level 14 or 15. Beyond that, I mostly used common food and potions, only occasionally using them. Bombs scare me because enemies often close in too quickly or are too easy without them. I wish I could play harder, but my current gear just isn't enough.
Contracts, theft, trading. What tier are you in? Do you typically purchase items? My accumulation of over 10,000 gold at level 15 comes from not buying much or selling what I can.
I received it for free, but I don’t have time to play it right now. I hope I can get to it soon. It seems nice and has a 9.3/10 rating on Ign and other sites.
