Are you familiar with any WISP operations? I'm gathering info on the gear and tools you employ. Which radios are standard? Are Ubiquity, Cambium, Mimosa, or similar models common? What switches power on and off—both at the office and on the towers? What customer routers do you support? What qualities influence your router selection? Which ticketing system do you rely on? What bandwidth options are available? What features matter most to you? What pricing details are shared? What services do you cover? Are there specific regions you operate in? I'm keen to learn and compare, whether it's new or similar tech. Let's get started. We mainly use Ubiquity and Cambium—along with some Powerbeams, Lightbeams, EPMP 1000/2000, and a few Mimosa units, though we're considering alternatives. On the towers, we currently run Netonix switches but aim to transition to Ubiquity Edge Switches. For customer routers, Mikrotik is our choice because of its remote access capabilities. We use Sonar for ticketing. Our speed tiers are 15MB, 25MB, and 50MB, but we're planning a 150MB package as new towers come online. No restrictions on any specifications. Our service area covers the 4 States in the USA, with a focus on Oklahoma. I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts and seeing what others are using.
