Hi gang
Running Windows 10 on Desktop. I have run Windows update.
So here is the deal. My wireless mouse stopped displaying the cursor on screen. When I hot control it flashes in the middle.
When I use remote desktop to log into my PC, the mouse that shows on screen has the same display setting I configured on my desktop - large black mouse.
I have tried device manager uninstall/reinstall. Tried updating drivers. I have removed all other items plugged into USB ports and then rebooted and plugged in the receiver to the USB slot. it detects the receiver but the mouse itself doesn't respond nor does the pointer show.
At that point I assumed maybe the mouse went kaput so I bought another mouse. Exact same issue.
Wondering if anyone has ever seen anything similar and/or has any suggestions.
Thank you in advance !

What is the construction of your mouse? Does it function identically across different platforms such as a donor device, laptop, or PC? Are there any components marked with a yellow warning symbol?

I test my laptop but still can't find anything.
No yellow indicators present.
Brand: Tecknet.
Model: TK-MS007

I figured it out. The rechargeable batteries were displaying a charge, but they weren't holding enough energy to run the mouse.
