Hello everyone,
My G703 has been working perfectly for months. Even after a lot of gaming yesterday, I faced no problems. My system settings and environment haven’t changed, but today the mouse keeps jumping around unpredictably.
I’ve cleaned the sensor, replaced the mousepad, tested a brand new G703 (same issue), turned off any Bluetooth or wireless devices, and switched USB ports on my PC. Still nothing has improved.
I’m unsure what’s causing this and don’t want to switch to a wired mouse or a different wireless model. Could it be interference from someone nearby? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’m really stuck.

I see two possible causes for your symptoms:
1. The battery level in the mouse is low.
Because you've used different mice, a battery issue shouldn't be the main reason.
When the mouse isn't in use, it should shut down automatically.
However, any vibration might make it believe it's still active and drain the battery.
You might need to turn it off manually between uses.
This has occurred to me before on a cruise ship.
2. The receiver is too far from the mouse.
The guide suggests keeping it under 20cm.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition.
Review the Reliability History and Event Viewer for any error codes or warnings linked to the wireless mouse.
Check the Update History for any recent or problematic updates within the past day.
Consider downloading the G703 drivers directly from Logitech’s site, reinstalling them, and reconfiguring if needed.

There are no reliability or event viewer alerts linked to the mouse at the moment. I haven't received any Windows updates since mid-January, but I did apply an update today after the mouse problems started. No changes noticed.
My drivers and firmware are current through GHUB and Windows. I don’t see any direct downloads from Logitech, though I’m not entirely sure if that’s the case.
I’m still trying to figure out what might be causing the issue—possibly some interference, but I have no idea what it could be.

I experienced a comparable issue last year. I had to buy USB extenders and connect the dongle close to my mouse and another PC in the room so they wouldn't disconnect. I still don't understand what caused it.

I've heard some folks mention an extender worked, but I didn't think much about it because my computer is right next to my mousepad. Still, it's worth a try. Appreciate the suggestion!

My mouse and dongle are within less than a foot, usually around 6-8 inches apart. When I put my mouse on the opposite side of my keypad it starts skipping. If I were making a wild guess about a conspiracy, I’d connect it to my 5G phone since the problem seems to happen at similar times.
