So at me house we have your regular porch on the back of the house but about 30ft from the back door there is another porch/deck. You walk up some stairs and you on the porch/deck. (note that the porch/deck is a level above the house) I am wanting to get wifi or ethernet i do not really care so I can put a tv up there. I have already tried to useing wifi bridgeing useing a old router and got no signal so the only choice i have to to run a ethernet cable. The thing is a do not want to run a ethernet cable across my back yard up onto the deck so there some way to get wifi up on the deck. Just so you know I do not want to spend $320 dollars for something like the Netgear orbi so whatever you recomend make is cheaper preferably under like $70 dollars. What ever works but the I would like it to be cheaper than that if possible.

I'm unsure about the outcome since your home's wiring could be outdated or modern. If returns aren't an option, consider powerline adapters. They aim to use your existing electrical setup to send Ethernet data. Their success depends heavily on your specific home wiring. I recommend doing some research on proper installation before proceeding. This topic might grow quite large, so I won't go into excess detail.

They offer outdoor access points that could be installed near the house facing the deck. I’m uncertain about their performance over distance or what ratings they have for remote units. Based on what I know, our patio is about 20 feet away from the router, and we already have a solid 5GHz signal there. So an outdoor AP should likely function well. If you plan to run Ethernet, you’d need to bury the cable underground and bring it up to the deck—this adds more complexity. You’ll probably need a permit and professional help to avoid damaging underground utilities. Another choice could be a Building-to-Building wireless link, such as the Ubiqtui Air Fiber, providing a dedicated connection between the house and deck. BUT you’d have to connect the wireless equipment directly at the deck or set it up with a wireless access point for WiFi coverage outside.

When you link and secure the UAP-AC-M on the wall near the opposite porch, positioning it facing the other porch should yield strong reception. It’s built for outdoor use and works in all directions. To turn it into a focused antenna, connect a UMA-D to its ports and align it toward your TV at the same spot mentioned earlier.

The TP link features solid mesh structures, which might be effective if you ensure the outdoor extensions are protected from water exposure.

Absolutely, follow these instructions carefully. Ensure you're using the correct setup and avoid any unnecessary extensions.
