Wireless Headphones
Hey there
I’m reaching out about an issue I’m facing with my Bluetooth 5.0 Dongle. It powers on but doesn’t connect. I’m using a Windows 10 system and have the following details from Speccy:
Hardware
CPU: AMD FX-8300 – 19 °C
RAM: 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. GA-78LMT-USB3 R2 (Socket M2) – 37 °C
Graphics: E321VL (1600x900@60Hz)
GPU: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER (MSI) – 36 °C
Storage: 1863GB MB2000EBUCF ATA Device (SATA) – 42 °C
SSD: 111GB TOSHIBA MKNSSDEC120GB ATA Device (SATA) – 38 °C
USB: 1862GB Western Digital WD Elements 2621 USB Device (USB SATA SSD) – 38 °C
Audio: High Definition Audio Device
My concern is whether the issue lies with my phones or with the rig itself. I’ve tried everything, including replacing the adapter and even considering a new one. My Amazon Music account recently stopped working for them. I’m not sure if I should keep buying new gear or if I should focus on fixing the setup.
I’m open to any advice and would really appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Bill
I would consider reinstalling the chipset drivers, ensuring the motherboard's latest BIOS is installed first. If that fails, I'd attempt to reinstall the OS by recreating the bootable USB installer using Windows Media Creation Tools, assuming the dongle functioned properly on a previous system. Most often, the dongle becomes non-functional due to OS corruption.
