TP Link and Asus produce quality products. The focus should be on pairing the WiFi card with the router's standard. I haven't used WiFi for my gaming rig in about two years, so I don’t have a specific model to recommend. Just ensure it supports dual band. Avoid USB options.
It's suggested to use TP-Link Archer PCI-E adapters for desktop WiFi. However, if the wireless AP's transmission power is weak, it won't deliver a strong signal to any compatible adapter you purchase.
