The device only supports USB 2 in the listed version, though a USB 3 dongle would work with a faster connection.

It won't match the quality of a good PCIe Wi-Fi card or ones with built-in antennas. Moving could assist, but keep in mind the limits and bring along a note about potential inaccuracies.

Consider the top affordable Ethernet connection option for a PC—the longest Ethernet cable available. The next best is the Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6 chip, compatible with various carrier boards. I also found one listed on Tokopedia.
