Make sure to include the motherboard details so we can verify USB3 support. This lets you test it yourself if needed. If it only supports USB2, performance will be slower, though it will still function. There’s an 80%+ chance it will work with your current gear—unless you’re certain, then return it as @star_pilot475 suggested.

Thanks! Just a quick note—your motherboard does list 2933MHz RAM as supported by default. Your 3000MHz RAM should work fine.
