Hey everyone, seems like someone else has observed a rise in brightness or gamma levels after updating to version 2004. My screen is definitely brighter now, but there doesn’t appear to be a clear explanation. I’ve taken my medication, so it’s probably not related. :-P

You're certain? I've observed this, but I rely on a software-driven brightness controller (ScreenBright) for my monitors because the manual controls aren't functioning.

No problems at all for me, and I'm using both stable v2004 and the fast-ring insider setup.

It's definitely a fun vibe without that "Sane" mark. I think it's safe to say yes, it could be a topic of discussion. And yeah, that software sounds interesting—worth checking it out!

Unfortunately, it seems the product has been discontinued (I wasn't aware of this before). Sorry, I've attached the .zip file for your reference. ScreenBright.zip Also, here are some alternatives I discovered in case you need them: https://alternativeto.net/software/screenbright/ Edited June 21, 2020 by SansVarnic

She's still around, it matches the size of that zip code, so it's probably the same thing.

functioned well on my secondary, boosting performance significantly, but my main stays stuck at the same level and doesn’t reach the same height as the secondary. It’s odd since both are AOC, and my main feels like it’s “better” than the other. I guess I’ll just have to deal with the frustration of having to adapt to the update changes.
