I created a bootable USB to bypass BitLocker by entering the pin via "manage-bde /unlock -password" and then deleting files, relocking, and restarting. The issue is that when using the recovery command prompt, no input appears. Only the key works. Should I add another dependency to the bootable file? Is there something missing? Thanks everyone. Edit: Now it does accept input. Still, the BitLocker unlock fails even with the correct password. Updated January 15, 2025 by sumurtugu

The Windows PE image you're using does not contain your local keyboard layout.

I revised my update to ensure clarity for everyone. The local contribution wasn't the problem anymore. Bitlocker isn't accepting the wrong password.
