Running an AMD system makes OS X installation much more challenging. You'll need a tailored kernel, which often causes frequent crashes until you're set right. Expect a complex process with limited support options. I've tried using an AMD e-450 before Niresh, but it didn't run perfectly. Results will differ for you. Remember to partition your drive with the OS X installer first, then add Windows and finally OS X. Make sure to install the chameleon bootloader—it's essential for compatibility with AMD CPUs. Once installed, it should detect both Windows and OS X and show you a choice screen each time you start up.

I've been in your shoes before too. I enjoy working with logic, but learning reaper and cubase didn't turn out well. I considered making a dual-boot hackintosh, but after reading many guides, I realized it's easier to buy a mac pro or iMac instead. My approach might differ from yours since I wanted to customize my existing setup rather than start from scratch.

It's very convenient with a gigabyte board; you're in for a great time.
