allow the MediaCreation tool to create what it requires, exactly as needed.
That’s what I did the first time I created another installation media after the fake clean install, and both of them appear with windows.old. Both have the USB device showing up during the installation process.
I don't understand what else to say.
The USB you're trying to install
from
doesn't appear in the list of installation locations.
Moreover, 'windows.old' won't show up after deleting partitions or performing a clean Windows installation on an empty drive.
