Absolutely understood. Windows XP’s stability has significantly declined after Microsoft withdrew its backing nearly four years ago.

It seems like you're questioning the reliability of older storage devices. They might function today but could fail in the future.

Approximately four years passed before it concluded on 8 April 2014. I don't understand why the support ceased. It was the top operating system.

In my country, hospitals, fire departments, and police stations continue to run XP as their main operating system, since the staff aren't skilled enough to handle newer ones.

I continue to notice point-of-sale systems operating on XP, whereas the machines handling digital advertising are using Windows 10.
