My three ethernet controllers show up as unknown when I turn on my computer. Since I'm not online, I can't download new driver files or look them up by typing in a search box. What do I need to fix this problem?

Check Device Manager to find the hardware ID, like 10:00008168. Try searching for a driver with that ID. Is it an ethernet card? You can often see sticker labels on the card for the model name or number.
