Additionally, Linux Mint had some issues with certain programs, while Ubuntu provided consistent performance. I suggest choosing Ubuntu for a smoother experience.

The same applies to Ubuntu, which is also company-developed and maintained. Its main benefit in practice is the availability of free software. On the downside, the disadvantage list is significantly longer.
