I'm troubleshooting a Windows Vista VM that can't access the internet despite working on Windows 8 and 7 VMs. Both use the same virtual switch, but connectivity remains problematic. Running this in Hyper-V, I'm trying to identify the cause of the issue.

Vista is terrible and you should be upset about it. That's the only thing.

...What’s the problem? Or, essentially, just share whatever details you have.

Have you made sure the network drivers are installed?

You can download the necessary drivers from the manufacturer's website and install them manually without using the internet.

Sure, I can help with that. Do you have a CD for drivers available?

I'm fetching them separately and planning to insert them into the VM... let's find out what happens!
