Windows appears to require manual updates, so you often need to visit the "Update and Security" section and install them yourself. For Windows Pro, there might be options to enable automatic updates, though setting a pin as your unlock method isn’t supported right now. Let me know if you’d like guidance on that.
It will refresh automatically outside of Active Hours (adjustable on the updates page). If you change it manually, it will apply right away—this explains why it appears to only work when you click it. However, sometimes it doesn’t update instantly either, to lessen strain on their servers or when other processes are running. Doing it manually will force an immediate update, while leaving it alone will eventually handle it.
