Windows update KB5028997 WinRE partition assistance
After the KB5028997 update, your recovery partition lacked sufficient free space, causing an update error. I used a Microsoft guide to resize the partition manually. The Windows RE location was moved to partition2, so you’ll need to adjust it back to partition3. Follow the steps in the guide to restore the correct location.
Remove the existing Widows RE partition and proceed with step 5 from the linked guide to rebuild it.
I removed the current Windows RE partition and re-executed step 5. The reagentc command still displays the RE location as \\?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk0\partition2\Recovery\WindowsRE. It should point to \\?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk0\partition3\Recovery\WindowsRE instead.
