I've been experiencing frequent BSODs on my PC. The messages keep appearing like the Infinity Stones. When the blue screen isn't shown, my system would freeze. During games, my computer has shut down unexpectedly. After updating Windows, I still face multiple errors even after restarting. The error codes I see are "0x800700de" and "0x800b0003". I can't boot into safe mode either. I've used the Resource and Performance Monitor to gather more details, but it's just waiting 60 seconds and then hangs. I'm waiting hours for it to finish without any progress. I'm hoping someone can help before I have to reinstall Windows completely. I have a lot of media and files that would be hard to back up, but I'm willing to do that. I just need assistance now. My system specs are: Windows 10 Home 64-bit, version 22H2, built on a Silicon Power A55 with a 512 GB SSD. CPU is the 5900X, motherboard MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX BIOS, E7C02AMS.3F0 build date is July 23, 2022. GPU is NVIDIA 3070 FE, driver version 551.86, RAM 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro @ 3200 MHz. Power supply is SeaSonic FOCUS PLUS 850W, 80+ Gold certified. I can't access Resource and Performance Monitor because it doesn't work.

Really not familiar with those BSODs, but I’d inspect the drive health and run a smart diagnostic on it just in case. Tldr: Once had random BSODs, turned out a 2-month-old NVMe seemed fine at 99% healthy in HD Sentinel, but failed smart tests and showed BSOD in Diskmark benchmarks. The NVMe was returned via RMA, and the BSOD stopped. I hope someone else can help with a solution soon. Edited May 17, 2024 by Poinkachu

Really not familiar with those BSODs, but I’d inspect the drive health and run a smart diagnostic on it just in case. Tldr: Once had random BSODs, turned out a 2-month-old NVMe seemed fine at 99% healthy in HD Sentinel, but failed smart tests and showed BSOD in Diskmark benchmarks. The NVMe was returned via RMA, and the BSOD stopped. I hope someone else can help with a solution soon. Edited May 17, 2024 by Poinkachu

I just ran CrystalDiskInfo to assess drive health and check SMART status. I also used the proprietary diagnostic tool from my NVME brand. Apologies, I mistakenly entered "Smart Test" instead of a diagnostic scan. For Silicon Power, the relevant software is available at: https://www.silicon-power.com/web/au/download-ToolBox. The collection didn't contain any dump files. Please verify manually at C:\Windows\Minidump. If present, move the Minidump folder to the Downloads folder on your desktop (or use OneDrive if available). Compress the folder and send it via a post. Follow instructions carefully—Windows doesn’t allow changes in this area.

I checked CrystalDiskInfo and saw your drive health at 97% good. To view the SMART status, open the toolbox and run the diagnostics—no issues detected. The link you mentioned is ready for review.

It seems the Minidump file should contain data due to the crashes you've experienced. Let me know if you need help interpreting it.

It could be generating kernel dumps. Verify the presence of a Memory.dmp file at C:\Windows. Confirm the timestamp to ensure it's recent. If no dump files appear, possible reasons include faulty storage, insufficient drive space for the page file, or incorrect settings. The page file, typically located on C: but possibly elsewhere, stores data during BSODs and creates a dump upon restart. By default, its size should match your RAM plus 3-4 GB, with at least that much free space required. Encrypted drives prevent the dump process from accessing them.

Reviewed C:\Windows but couldn't locate that file. It seems there might be an issue with the SSD I own; the OS is installed, but everything feels off. With multiple monitors, I notice the desktop icons refresh unexpectedly. Every time I restart, the setup wizard appears repeatedly even after exiting. Booting takes longer than normal, and once it starts, I encounter freezing or stalls, making it hard to launch programs. When opening Chrome, I’m constantly prompted to sign in, and nothing is being saved. In Command Prompt, "wmic diskdrive get status" shows three drives in OK and one labeled "Pred Fail," which points to the C: drive (see attached image). Running "chkdsk C:" reveals errors—CHKDSK can’t proceed because the volume is read-only. Trying to fix it with "chkdsk C: /f /r /x" returns a message about file system type and drive in use, suggesting Windows can’t repair it. The system asks if I want to schedule a check next restart, but I’m unsure since the drive is Windows-based and I’m on Windows itself. Right now, the 262 GB free space on the 476 GB drive appears insufficient. A backup seems safer than risking data loss. You can't observe it directly; it's meant to verify which drive is active when using multiple drives. That's the approach I'd take.
