Windows 11 insider version 26120.1350 behaved similarly to the previous .1330 release. Choosing the cleanup option for the 7.85GB never succeeds. The Disk Cleanup tool executes without making any changes. I’m having trouble locating the files or folders that could account for that size anywhere on the drive.

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup already verified, continues until 70% and then confirms everything is okay – the task finished without issues. Also, the SFC /scannow detected no problems this time.

Tried it too; WizTree works a bit better. Still figuring out why the OS repair isn’t working despite the Windows Update issues. Third-party tools can help with updates, but the repair seems stuck.

Run Dism.exe to clean up components and reset the base image.
Execute the command to restore system health using the latest patches.
Ensure you follow the steps for the ResetBase process.

The error message indicates it needs the DISM "source" parameter pointing to the installation file. Your chosen value was "F:\Sources\install.wim". Adjust it accordingly based on where the installer saved the WIM file.

Now everything seems to work properly. DISM and SFC appear to be functioning correctly. The Disk Cleanup tool continues to show 7.85GB of unnecessary files. Installing from a valid ISO remains problematic.

1) I attempted 2) CrystalDiskInfo indicated it's okay.
3) After that, I tried again and believe it could be an issue with the insider build.
