I'm working on updating Windows 10 now, but it seems the system is scanning my second drive. The photos confirm this issue. I don’t like it when my second drive is being checked during updates—it feels insecure. Any advice would be great. I’d really prefer to avoid this, especially since my network connection to S (send) is active at 0, meaning Microsoft is sending data that’s being scanned. Of course, the volume is too low to actually transmit my files, but it’s still bothersome.

Turn it off. You might also disconnect the drive via Disk Manager and reconnect it later after remounting. If needed, reinstall it. I don’t understand the reason behind its actions beyond possible cleanup tasks like garbage collection or defragmentation—it seems unrelated to Windows Telemetry.
