During my absence for work, the PC ran for about three weeks. I restarted it to apply updates, but it fell into a persistent bootloop. It wouldn’t power on and kept restarting every few seconds. No graphics appeared from the GPU or internal display, even with both DP and HDMI connections. The CPU LED on the motherboard stayed red. After several attempts—reinstalling the CPU, updating BIOS, rearranging RAM, disconnecting the GPU and PCI-E, removing the SSD—I still faced issues. I’m considering the CPU might be faulty, and the symptoms match Asus’ basic troubleshooting advice. Since I don’t have another unit to test, I’m leaning toward replacing it. My system is roughly a year old and was built by myself. Here are my steps so far:

It was the processor that needed fixing. I purchased a 14700K and it's now functioning properly.
