While setting up Windows, press the F key to let third-party drivers install. Remove the installation CD, add the driver CDs, then launch the installer. Insert the Windows disc and proceed with the setup.

He isn't setting up Windows XP or any earlier version. The F key isn't needed. On the drive/partition selection screen, he'll see an option to "Load Driver."
