Windows Troubleshooting Guide Need assistance with your Windows? Here’s how to resolve common issues.
I began my computer today and received an error saying my Windows isn't genuine, but after re-entering the product code it worked. I restarted the PC and everything seemed normal. Upon further inspection, I noticed my Windows' index score has dropped and I can't proceed with another test. It displays a link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9CcibQ...sp=sharing. When I click it, the test fails completely and does nothing. I don't understand why this is happening—it usually shows an admin icon next to it but it's missing now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I've updated all the newest drivers and am now holding my breath for the ms support representative to understand it. (could take a while)
Consider attempting a system restore, but if only the index is affected, it's best to leave it. Also check for any missing optional Windows updates.
Honestly, if you're just missing the experience index feature, I'd leave it alone. It doesn't matter much to me, and it wouldn't be worth the effort. I haven't even tried running the experience index on my computer yet.
