Attempting to bypass the OS might resolve the issue for most users. Could a faulty chip trigger this problem? Even after resetting via BIOS, it remains possible.

Consider pausing now. Turning off oc might also work. However, you won't know for sure what's causing the issue, so you might leave oc off and turn it back when the problem appears.

Yeah, i will not oc for now. Problem is, if it returns and the oc is at fault, i cannot revert it (apparently) at least through bios - maybe the ryzen master software is bug ridden. Cheers nonetheless folks, very much appreciated Hopefully i will not return to update this thread

Wellp, I'm back now. The 1903 update went smoothly—just installed Chrome and the amp drivers. No problems. Windows got a lot of updates and needed a restart, but I can't boot into it now... (only one SSD is installed, all the HDDs are missing). I found this while waiting: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/mi...-updating/ I tried fixing it this time by adding the HDDs one by one to check which one causes the issue. E2: I also installed chipset drivers, but it stuck again.
